My Oily Journey

We are getting oily over here, and by oily,  I mean Essential Oils!  We are using these babies for everything.  I originally started using essential oils just to diffuse for their lovely smell, however since then I learned they are so much more valuable than that!

After researching essential oils, we now use them daily and not just to diffuse!  So far, I have made room spray, hair conditioner, soap, linen spray, nerve pain cream, MS massage oil, Immune roller, sleepy time roller, anti-aging face serum and make up remover pads and I’m just getting started!  My plan is to replace all the chemical filled household cleaners, beauty products, etc with home-made oily products.  Recently, oils are our new go-to whenever we feel sick, have a headache, can’t sleep, ate too much, have a stinky washing machine, have a cold sore, you name it, we always go to our oils first and foremost (even my dog Tucker has benefited from Essential oils).

What are Essential Oils?

Is there truth to the hype? You bet.  Essential oils are one of nature’s best kept secrets.  Essential oils are fragrant, highly concentrated natural compounds extracted from plants, they are what give the plant its characteristic odor and contain the healing power of the plant from which it was extracted, in short, they’re nature’s purest essence.  Did you know that it takes 22 seconds for the molecules to reach your brain, in 2 minutes they can be found in the bloodstream and in 20 minutes they affect every cell in the body! True story, that’s why you want to be sure you have the top of the line purest oils you can find!  When used correctly, essential oils bring a wide range of health benefits since unlike modern drugs, they have no side-effects.  To get great benefits it’s important to use therapeutic grade essential oils that are NOT adulterated.  Adulterated oils contain synthetic chemicals or compounds that may be harmful to our body!

Don’t just take my word for it, try it!
